AML chief says cases being registered against him as he's' target of political vendetta'
ISLAMABAD Awami Muslim League( AML) principal Sheikh Rashid Ahmed on Friday approached the Islamabad High Court( IHC) for post-arrest bail in the case regarding his allegations against Pakistan Peoples Party( PPP)Co-chair Asif Ali Zardari of conniving the assassination of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf( PTI) principal Imran Khan.
Sheikh Rashid has surrendered the post-arrest guarantee plea in the IHC which is probable to be heard on Monday, reported Express News. preliminarily, a quarter and sessions court had rejected two of his bail operations.
In the plea submitted moment, the AML principal argued that cases are being registered against him as he" is the target of a political vendetta".
According to the solicitation, a lawsuit was written on the reflections made against Zardari not on the complaint of the displeased party but" on the complaint of another person".
The supplicant said, " I'm in jail and currently the law doesn't need me for any further exploration," and requested the court to print bail orderings.
A day before, a quarter and sessions court had rejected Sheikh Rashid's alternate post-arrest bail plea. Rashid had challenged the redundancy of his former bail plea by a judicial justice.
The quondam minister is presently in the guardianship of Murree law after they were granted a one-day conveyance remand by an Islamabad sessions court. A case was filed against him in Murree on February 3.
The arrestment
Last week, the Islamabad law caught up with Rashid in a behind-dark invasion from his hearthstone in a secret casing society in the city capital.
An operation had been bowed to the Abpara Police Station to mark a case against the ex-minister for claiming that former chairman Zardari was setting a plot to bump off Imran Khan.
